Acceptance Of These Terms
By using livingrootshome.com or engaging Living Roots Home for any service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website or our services. Where a signed project agreement exists, that agreement takes priority over these terms for the work it covers.
Our Services
We provide renovation and home care services including home decor and interior work, home exterior and garden renovation, home security, fire safety, home loan and warranty guidance, roofing upgrades, solar upgrades, window replacements, flooring upgrades and bathroom remodeling. Descriptions on this website are provided for general information and may be refined once we have surveyed your property.
Using This Website
- You agree to provide accurate information in any form you submit.
- You must not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or submit spam or unlawful content.
- Website content is provided as general guidance, not as a substitute for an on-site survey or professional advice for your specific property.
Estimates And Quotations
Estimates, site visits and consultations are provided free of charge and carry no obligation. A written estimate sets out the scope of work, materials and assumptions it relies on. Where hidden conditions are discovered during work — structural issues, concealed damage or non-standard existing work — we will stop, explain what we have found and agree any change with you in writing before continuing. No monetary figures, discounts or payment schedules are published on this website; these are always confirmed in your project documentation.
Scheduling, Access And Site Conditions
- Start dates are agreed in writing once materials and access are confirmed.
- You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the work area, water and power where required.
- Weather, supplier delays and third-party approvals can affect timing; we will tell you as soon as we know.
- We protect floors, furnishings and gardens as far as is practical, and we leave the site tidy at the end of each working day.
Changes, Variations And Client Requests
Any change to agreed scope, materials or finishes is documented and approved before it is carried out. Where a change affects timing or cost, we will explain the effect clearly so you can decide. Verbal requests that alter the work will be confirmed in writing.
Payments And Invoicing
Payment terms are set out in your project agreement or invoice. Invoices are due as stated on them. Work may be paused where payment is outstanding, and materials supplied remain our property until paid for. Payment methods, deposits and staged payments are confirmed in writing before work begins.
Workmanship, Materials And Warranty
We carry out all work with reasonable skill and care and in line with manufacturer instructions for the products used. Completed work carries written warranty cover, the terms of which are provided in your project documentation. Manufacturer warranties for materials or appliances are passed to you along with care instructions at handover. Normal wear, accidental damage, neglect, unauthorised alterations, extreme weather events and pre-existing defects are not covered by workmanship warranty.
Your Responsibilities
- Disclose known hazards, defects or restrictions on the property.
- Secure pets, valuables and fragile items before we begin each stage.
- Obtain any approvals you are responsible for, such as permissions from an owner, insurer or association.
- Follow the care and maintenance instructions provided at handover.
Third-Party Products And Finance Introductions
We may recommend products, suppliers or lending specialists. Recommendations are made in good faith, but the final decision and the contract for such products or finance remain between you and the provider. Warranties and performance guarantees for third-party products are provided by those manufacturers or lenders.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any project is limited to the cost of the work we carried out or the remedy of that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of income, loss of use or loss of opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Intellectual Property
Design proposals, drawings, written specifications and imagery created by us remain our intellectual property unless we agree otherwise in writing. Website text, images and branding may not be copied or reused without permission.
Project Photography
With your permission we may photograph completed work for our portfolio. We will never publish images that identify your address, and you may ask us at any time to remove photographs of your property.
Suspension And Termination
Either party may end a project agreement in line with its terms. Where work is terminated, you are responsible for work carried out and materials ordered up to that point, and we will hand over information needed to complete outstanding items fairly.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. If a dispute cannot be resolved through discussion, both parties agree to good-faith negotiation or mediation before pursuing other remedies.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The version published on this page is the version in force, and continued use of the website means you accept it.
